ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Founded in 1973, SY-AMPP was founded by Richard L.Smith. Having lost his right leg in a construction accident in 1952, the Founder understood what it means to have a disability and this company represents his legacy through a commitment to Accessibility not only to the website but to the organizations and agencies that support people with age, physical and intellectual disabilities.
What web accessibility is
As a former contributor to the US Access Board (https://www.access-board.gov/about/), the Principal is committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA standards in an effort to provide an accessible website for all users. In addition to the Website, SY-AMPP is committed to making sure the work we perform is Sectioin 508 (https://www.access-board.gov/ict/) compliant as well.
We do use third party widgets on our site which are not all 100% compliant, and we are actively working with these providers to improve their accessibility. If you have any feedback or need to reach us please email msmith@sy-ampp.com.
We would also encourage people to visit and register for trainings that are available free on line to edcuate your organizations on the Section 508 guidelines.
